Le Domaine de Prestal is located in the heart of the Normandy Bocage, 2 hours from Paris, between L'Aigle, Argentan and Alençon. The estate consists of five buildings that once formed a traditional farm set in 1.5 hectares of greenery. Today, the main house (logis) features several lounges and suites, the dovecote (pigeonnier) has been converted into a bedroom with its own private terrace, the bread oven (four à pain) is currently being fitted out to accommodate a bedroom with a spa, and the sheepfold (bergerie) and barn (grange) are part of various upcoming projects.
A halt in time. The house is designed as a freeze frame, a pause outside of reality, where one finds the time to relax while enjoying a cocktail on the sunny terrace, or by the fireplace, a remnant of the 17th-century manor house.
The calm of nature. Far from the hustle and bustle of cities and everyday life, the estate is hidden away in its green setting, surrounded by forests and pastures. Seeing wild animals on the estate, such as deer, is a pure moment of disconnection from reality.
